I am finally presenting some quite old 360 degree virtual tours of real estate, parks and historic locations. These tours used Macromedia Flash engine. The images were captured using Kadon’s OneVR capture lens and digital cameras. A custom software from Kadon rendered some rather odd looking camera images into flat 360-degree images (such as the one below). These images were then incorporated into a design application programmed by me. End results, at that time, were some of the few 360-degree virtual tours made without requiring any extra ‘plugins’; Flash plugin was already present in well over 90% of web browsers then and, unlike in other 360 tour technology, my tours were readily playable.
Please note that these tours are presented as ‘legacy’ tours; the information in them may not be valid anymore. Also, the tours may and may not have audio playing, emails will not work, and possibly some other functionality not working. But they WILL all show images of interesting places in Clemson, Greenville, Anderson, and surrounding areas of South Carolina.
Finally, the tours are deployed on a test server and may be slow or occasionally not even show up–in that case, please try again 🙂
Enjoy! And don’t forget to leaves comments besides tours.
